T + A toured a few different Temecula Wedding Venues, but when they visited Mount Palomar Winery, they fell in love with the venue’s pretty trees, greenery, and white pillars.
Fun fact, I wasn’t T + A’s first choice for a wedding photographer. The groom and I worked together forever ago, my associate photographed their proposal and I photographed a portrait session for Ashley. Once their wedding got closer, they decided they had to have me photograph their Temecula wedding at Mount Palomar Winery.
It all came down to connection – and they wanted to hire a wedding photographer they liked, would want to grab coffee with, and who valued the same things they valued.
Which I totally agree with! Because think about it – you’ll be spending a whole lot of time with your photographer before, during, and after the wedding. So, it’s important to hire someone you and your partner mesh with on a personal level.
This doesn’t mean you have to look for someone who hits BFF status (but bonus points if they do!) If the photographer is fun and easy to be around, and you and your partner feel comfortable around the person, then that’s a win. (Read more about things to look for in a wedding photographer here)
For their wedding, they were most excited about partying with everyone but were nervous about the heat. Their July Temecula wedding wasn’t as hot as they thought it would be, so they partied with their friends and family at Mount Palomar Winery till the late evening!
